AUSTIN, Texas -- Two Badgers from the Wisconsin diving team earned top-five finishes in finals of the platform discipline at the Texas Diving Invitational, as Ashley Peterson finished in fourth place for the women and Dan Cech had a fifth place performance for the men in Austin, Texas, on Saturday.

Peterson recorded a score of 264.20 points to earn her fourth-place finish, while fellow junior Cech had a final score of 289.80 to finish in fifth place.

Mara Aiacoboae of Arizona State won the women's platform with a score of 349.40, while Mark Anderson of host Texas won among the men with a score of 451.95.

Freshman Ethan O'Neill came in sixth place just behind teammate Cech with a score of 261.25, while fellow freshman Clark Carter finished seventh with 259.20 points.

Two freshmen helped the Wisconsin women garner two other top-10 finishes, as Dana Liva placed sixth with 231.10 points and Gabriella Comunale was 10th with 215.35 points.
