Wisconsin Athletics Season Parking Information

For 2015-16, the Athletic Department will continue to review and allocate season parking requests based on lot availability, annual giving level and priority points within each giving level via Ballena Technologies’ online selection software. This process allows for the Athletic Department to annually evaluate parking inventory while accommodating donors with a unique appointment time to select parking based on their individual needs. However, there have been changes to the parking information for football, men’s basketball & men’s hockey.

Moving forward for football we will have four parking zones instead of three as in the past. The lots and their corresponding zones are listed below. The new zone A is now classified at the All-American Club level or higher per permit ($5,000 +). Lot 13 and lot 54 are now part of zone B at the Director’s Club level or higher per permit ($2,500 +). Also, all lots in zones A and B will now cost $140 for a season permit. Permits in Zones C and D will cost $105 with the exceptions of lot 20 and lot 93, both of which are $140.

For men’s basketball, all patrons will still have an overall permit limit of three, but a max of two of those three can come from our zone A parking lots. In essence, there will be a limit of two zone A permits per patron. Also, the Shaughnessy parking lot is no longer an available option due a change in ownership and the subsequent apartment complex construction taking place on the property.

Men’s hockey parking will be affected by the loss of the Shaughnessy parking lot referenced above. More information will be communicated directly to men’s hockey season ticket/permit holders for the Shaughnessy lot in June.

FOOTBALL

Patrons wishing to order season parking must be a current football season ticket holder and active donor to Wisconsin Athletics (minimum $50 contribution). To be considered an active donor, patrons must submit their annual contribution by April 30, 2015.

More details regarding the online parking selection process, which takes place in June, will be distributed by physical mail and email to all football season ticket holders/active donors in May.

Recommended minimum annual contributions for the opportunity to order football season parking permits are as follows:

Zone A – All-American Club ($5,000+): Lots 16, 17, 17 Roof, Credit Union, and Regent Apartments
Zone B – Director’s Club ($2,500+): Lots 13, 41, 54, 80, Church A, Church B, and Church C

Zone D – Walk-On Club ($50+): Lots 7, 29, 36, 43, 44, 62, and 87

Donors ordering multiple football parking permits must qualify for each permit based on their annual giving level (Example: Ordering two zone A football parking permits would require a minimum annual giving level of $10,000 ($5,000 per permit)). Ambassador’s Circle, Hall of Fame, MVP, Champion’s, and All-American Club level donors qualify for every parking lot available, from Zone A to Zone D. Director’s Club level donors qualify for only Zone B, Zone C, and Zone D parking lots. Coach’s Club level donors qualify for Zone C and Zone D parking lots. Captain’s, Red & White, and Walk-On Club level donors qualify for only Zone D parking lots. Additionally, season ticket holders/active donors will be limited up to three (3) season parking permits, per account, based on annual giving level qualification, donor requests, and lot availability.

Please note, parking lot availability fluctuates on an annual basis. Due to these factors, it is not possible to forecast the annual contribution level and priority points necessary to receive a season permit in a specific parking lot and/or zone. MEN'S HOCKEY

Patrons who purchased parking in 2014-15 will have their parking pass quantity and location listed on their season ticket order form for payment in 2015-16. Should you want to request a change in location or an additional parking pass, you will be able to submit that request on the season ticket form and those requests will be reviewed based on lot availability, annual giving level and priority points within each giving level.

Patrons wishing to request a new men’s hockey season parking permit must also be a current season ticket holder. Active donors to Wisconsin Athletics (minimum $50 contribution) by June 30, 2015 receive priority when requesting parking. Requests will be reviewed based on lot availability, annual giving level and priority points within each giving level. Season ticket holders who are not active donors will be allocated after all donor requests are fulfilled. Their parking lot allocation will be based on their consecutive years of purchasing men’s hockey season tickets.

More details regarding season parking will be included with the men’s hockey season ticket order information mailing in June.
