WOMEN’S BASKETBALL POST-SEASON INFORMATION

NCAA TOURNAMENT

NCAA Tournament selections, seeds and sites are to be determined on the evening of Monday, March 12. If Wisconsin is invited to the 2012 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament, the following ticket policy will be implemented.

For all tournament rounds, NCAA tickets will be available for purchase to the general public; however, orders will be filled and seats assigned by annual giving level and then by priority points within each giving level as of December 31, 2011. The athletic department may implement limits per donor account if demand exceeds supply.

NCAA Tournament First/Second Round Tickets (March 17-20)

Ticket orders for first/second round tickets will be accepted online at UWBadgers.com beginning Monday, March 12 at 8pm. Ticket Orders will also be accepted over the phone at 1.800.GO.BADGERS, or in person at the Wisconsin Athletic Ticket Office in Kellner Hall on Tuesday, March 13 from 8:30am until 4:30pm.

Please note ticket orders are good for both first and second round games assuming Wisconsin wins its first round game. If Wisconsin does not advance to the second round, ticket orders will not be charged or filled for the second round. In addition, for first round competition, tickets are only valid for the session in which Wisconsin competes, either the afternoon or evening session. Patrons are not allowed to order first round tickets without ordering second round tickets and vice versa. Patrons will be notified by e-mail as to as pick-up procedures on the evening of Tuesday, March 13. If you do not receive an email on March 13, contact the Wisconsin Athletic Ticket Office for further information.

NCAA Tournament Regional Tickets (March 24-27)

Should Wisconsin advance through the second round, orders for regional tickets will be accepted online at UWBadgers.com, over the phone at 1.800.GO.BADGERS, or in person at the Wisconsin Athletic Ticket Office in Kellner Hall beginning Wednesday, March 21 from 8:30am until 4:30pm.

Please note ticket orders are good for both sessions of the regional round (two regional semifinals and the regional final), assuming Wisconsin wins its regional semifinal game. If Wisconsin does not advance to the regional final, ticket orders will not be charged or filled for the regional final. Patrons are not allowed to order regional semifinal tickets without ordering regional final tickets and vice versa. Patrons will be notified by e-mail as to as pick-up procedures on the evening of Wednesday, March 21. If you do not receive an email on March 21, contact the Wisconsin Athletic Ticket Office for further information.

NCAA Tournament Final Four Tickets (April 1 & 3) – Denver, CO

Should Wisconsin advance to the Final Four in Indianapolis, IN, ticket orders will be accepted online at UWBadgers.com, over the phone at1.800.GO.BADGERS, or in person at the Wisconsin Athletic Ticket Office in Kellner Hall beginning Wednesday, March 28 from 8:30am until 4:30pm.

Please note, unlike the tickets for the first/second rounds and regional round, tickets for Final Four competition are good for both sessions of the Final Four (two national semifinals and the national championship game), regardless if Wisconsin wins its national semifinal game. Patrons are not allowed to order national semifinal tickets without ordering national championship game tickets and vice versa. Patrons will be notified by e-mail as to as pick-up procedures on the evening of Wednesday, March 28. If you do not receive an email on March 28, contact the Wisconsin Athletic Ticket Office for further information.

WOMEN’S NATIONAL INVITATION TOURNAMENT (WNIT)

If Wisconsin is invited to the WNIT and is selected to host, the following ticket policies will be implemented. WNIT sites and pairings will be announced on the evening of Monday, March 12. Please note that if Wisconsin is selected to host games in the WNIT, games could be played at the Kohl Center or the Field House. Please visit UWBadgers.com to get the most current information regarding dates, times and locations of potential post-season home games for Wisconsin Women’s Basketball. Regardless of venue, all tickets will be general admission.

Orders can be made over the phone at 1.800.GO.BADGERS, in person or online at UWBadgers.com starting at 8:30am on Tuesday, March 13. Should Wisconsin advance through the tournament, tickets for subsequent games will go on sale as soon as possible, online at UWBadgers.com. Additionally, tickets will go on-sale over the phone at 1.800.GO.BADGERS, or in-person at the Wisconsin Athletics Ticket Office in Kellner Hall, during regular business hours of 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday-Friday.

Tickets will not be mailed. Tickets for all rounds Wisconsin may host must be picked up at will call or by printing tickets at home (online orders only).

For games played on weekdays, will call will be available at the Wisconsin Athletic Ticket Office in Kellner Hall, during regular business hours of 8:30am to 4:30pm. If a weekday game is to be played at the Field House, will call will remain at the Wisconsin Athletic Ticket Office in Kellner Hall. If a weekday game is to be played at the Kohl Center, will call will open at Gate B of the Kohl Center, beginning one hour prior to tip-off.

For games played on weekends, will call will be available beginning one hour prior to tip-off; either at Gate B of the Kohl Center or at the Wisconsin Athletic Ticket Office in Kellner Hall, depending on the game’s location.
