Ticket Sales

How To Purchase Student Season Tickets

Wisconsin Men’s Hockey student season tickets are sold online at UWBadgers.com. Student season tickets for all nineteen home games in 2014-15 are $100, plus a $20 processing fee.

To purchase tickets online, all students will need their Student ID number (also referred to as a Campus ID number).

All new students should use their Student ID number to activate their online account prior to purchasing tickets.

Incoming full-time undergraduate students can begin activating their online account in early June. Incoming graduate and professional students can begin activating their online account in early July.

Ticket On-Sale Dates

Two separate on sale dates have been established for undergraduate, graduate and professional students. All full-time undergraduate students (continuing students, incoming freshmen, transfer students and Connection students) can begin purchasing their student men’s hockey season tickets on Monday, June 30, at 7:30am CDT. Sales will be online at UWBadgers.com and available while supplies remain. Students interested in purchasing men's hockey student season tickets are encouraged to login to their account by noon on Friday, June 27 in advance of the sale, to ensure the best possible purchase experience on June 16. Should students have problems logging into their online account at that time they should contact the UW Athletics Ticket Office at 608.262.1440 or may e-mail questions to tickets@UWBadgers.com. Please note that e-mail responses are sent during regular business hours. Office hours are 8:30am to 4:30pm CDT, Monday through Friday.

All full-time graduate and professional students (returning graduate and professional students) can begin purchasing their tickets on Thursday, July 10 at 7:30am CDT. Tickets are going on sale to graduate and professional students after the undergraduate ticket sale due to the later admittance of many incoming graduate and professional students. Like the undergraduate student sale, all graduate and professional student season tickets will be sold online at UWBadgers.com and will be available while supplies remain. Students interested in purchasing men's hockey student season tickets are encouraged to login to their account by noon on Wednesday, July 9 in advance of the sale, to ensure the best possible purchase experience on July 10.

Students may only pick-up their own set of vouchers, students are not allowed to pick-up vouchers for other students. It's also important to note that the last day vouchers may be picked-up is Monday, December 1. Students who do not pick up their vouchers by December 1 will have their vouchers voided, but will not receive a refund.

Game Day Voucher Exchange

On game day, students exchange their ticket voucher for admission into the Kohl Center at the student gate, which is located on the north end (Dayton Street) of the Kohl Center adjacent to Gate A. Voucher exchange begins 60 minutes prior to tip-off. The process for exchanging student vouchers for reserved seat tickets will closely resemble the process used for football.

Students are encouraged to come to the student gate when they plan on entering the Kohl Center. Students wishing to sit together should enter through the student gate at the same time, get in a single file line, and have their vouchers scanned by the same ticket-taker. Following this procedure will ensure that groups of friends are allocated tickets together. Once again, the student entrance and voucher exchange will commence 60 minutes prior to face-off.

Also please note, voucher exchange will be available until the end of the 2nd intermission, at which time the student gate will be closed. Students will not be allowed to enter the Kohl Center once the student gate is closed.

Once inside the student gate, students will have their vouchers scanned by ticket-takers. After the voucher has been scanned, students will receive a reserved seat ticket from a representative of the Athletic Ticket Office. Tickets will be distributed from the rows closest to the ice on through to the top rows of the 300 level student season ticket sections. Students are required to sit in the section, row and seat that are printed on the ticket they receive.

Once students enter the arena and receive their ticket, they may not exit the arena and re-enter just by showing their ticket. Students also must sit in their designated section, row and seat, and must have their ticket in hand at all times, or are subject to removal from the Kohl Center.
