UW Student NCAA Men's Hockey Ticket Sales Plan

Per Athletic Board policy, UW students are eligible to receive 20% of the Athletic Department's NCAA ticket allotment, after internal ticket usage has been determined. For men's hockey, that equates to approximately 20 tickets for the NCAA Regional round and 66 tickets for the Frozen Four.

Regional Round Student Tickets

Student season ticket-holders will have the opportunity to request up to two tickets for the regional round of NCAA tournament competition.

Beginning February 28 and ending March 4, students interested in requesting NCAA tickets must appear in-person at the Athletic Ticket Office during regular business hours (8:30am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday) to register an NCAA tournament ticket request form. Students who did not purchase 2010-2011 men's hockey season tickets are not eligible to purchase 2011 NCAA Tournament tickets.

On the request form, students will be able to request tickets for whichever Regional round sites they want to attend. Students must provide a valid credit card, as cards will be charged for tickets once it has been determined that Wisconsin will compete at a particular site. Should demand for student tickets exceed supply for a given round/site, the Athletics Ticket Office will conduct a lottery of all requests to determine which students will receive tickets.

It is important to note that students who purchase tickets for NCAA competition are required to pick-up their tickets at the tournament site without exception.

On Tuesday, March 8, an e-mail will be sent to students confirming their ticket request status for each NCAA tournament round. Furthermore, once Wisconsin is selected for and advances through tournament play, additional e-mail communications will be sent to students regarding ticket pick-up procedures.

Frozen Four Student Tickets

Student season ticket-holders will have the opportunity to request up to two tickets for NCAA Frozen Four competition. Should demand for student Frozen Four tickets exceed supply, the Athletics Ticket Office will conduct a lottery of all requests to determine which students will receive tickets.

Beginning February 28 and ending March 4, students interested in requesting NCAA Frozen Four tickets must appear in-person at the Athletics Ticket Office during regular business hours (8:30am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday) to register an NCAA Frozen Four ticket request form. Students who did not purchase 2010-2011 men's hockey season tickets are not eligible to purchase 2011 NCAA Frozen Four tickets.

On Tuesday, March 8, an e-mail will be sent to students confirming their Frozen Four ticket request status.

It is important to note that students who purchase tickets for the Frozen Four are required to pick-up their tickets at the tournament site without exception. However, if Wisconsin does not advance to the Frozen Four, Frozen Four ticket orders will not be filled or charged.
