NCAA Tournament - Donor/Season Ticket Holder

Wisconsin is delighted to participate in the East Regional of the 2012 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, please note the following ticket policies for donors to athletics will be used. Donors who made contributions in the 2011 calendar year and current men’s basketball season ticket holders will be granted the opportunity to REQUEST 2012 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament Tickets.

NCAA ticket requests will be filled and seats assigned by annual giving level and then by priority points within each giving level as of December 31, 2011. Men’s basketball season ticket holders who are not donors will have tickets assigned at the discretion of the athletic department. The UW Athletic Department may implement ticket limits per donor account if demand exceeds supply.

NCAA Tournament - Final Four Tickets (March 31 & April 2) – New Orleans, LA

In preparation of a potential Final Four appearance in New Orleans, LA, patrons will have two options to secure game tickets and/or hotel and travel accommodations:

A “Game Tickets Only” option and a “Hotel and Game Tickets Package” option will be offered. See below for further details. All ticket requests and seating assignments will be reviewed and allocated based first on 2011 annual giving level, then priority points within giving level.

Please note that tickets for Final Four competition are good for both sessions of the Final Four (two national semifinals and the national championship game), regardless if Wisconsin wins its national semifinal game. Patrons are not allowed to order national semifinal tickets without ordering national championship game tickets and vice versa. Patrons will be notified by e-mail as to the status of their request as well as pick-up procedures the evening of Monday, March 26. If you do not receive an e-mail notifying you of the status of your request on March 26, contact the Wisconsin Athletic Ticket Office for further information. No conditional ticket requests will be accepted.

Game Tickets Only Option

Requests for Final Four game tickets will be accepted online at UWBadgers.com beginning one hour after Wisconsin advances to the Regional Final and concluding Monday, March 26 at 1 p.m., using each patron's registered online account. Requests for tickets may also be made over the phone or in person at the Wisconsin Athletic Ticket Office in Kellner Hall on Sunday, March 25 from noon- 5 p.m. and Monday, March 26 from 8:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.

In anticipation of high demand for a limited inventory, patrons are invited to request the following ticket quantities based on their 2011 annual giving level:

Hall of Fame Club – up to six tickets
Champions Club and All-American Club – up to four tickets
Director’s Club, Coach’s Club, Captain’s Club and Non-Donor MBB Season Ticket Holder – up to two tickets

Game Tickets and Hotel Package Option

The following information is provided for donors to Wisconsin Athletics interested in purchasing hotel packages should Wisconsin advance to the NCAA Men’s Basketball Final Four.

Game Ticket and Hotel packages will be offered through Anthony Travel (AnthonyTravel.com or 855-665-3290) and will include game tickets, hotel accommodations, daily shuttle service, New Orleans land transfers (with air purchase), a pre-game party, commemorative souvenir, and more! Anthony Travel will also offer air travel. Hotel and travel package sales will not be accepted by the Wisconsin Athletic Ticket Office or its phone lines.

One hotel property will be offered in New Orleans. Air Travel will also be offered departing on Friday, March 30 and leaving New Orleans on Tuesday, April 3.

Listed below are the donor priority purchase periods for Final Four game ticket, hotel, and travel packages:

Hall of Fame Club ($25,000 & above)
Immediately following a UW victory on Saturday, March 24 to 10:00 a.m. Sunday, March 25
Patrons can purchase up to 6 tickets per account. Purchase of 1-4 tickets requires the purchase of one hotel room and purchase of 5-6 tickets requires the purchase of two hotel rooms with a four-night minimum.

Champion’s Club ($10,000 - $24,999)
10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Sunday, March 25
Patrons can purchase up to 4 tickets per account. Each purchase of 1-4 tickets requires the purchase of a minimum of one hotel room with a four-night minimum.

All-American Club ($5,000 - $9,999)
12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 25
Patrons can purchase up to 4 tickets per account. Each purchase of 1-4 tickets requires the purchase of a minimum of one hotel room with a four-night minimum.

Director’s Club ($2,500 - $4,999)
3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Sunday, March 25
Patrons can purchase up to 2 tickets per account. Each purchase of 1-2 tickets requires the purchase of a minimum of one hotel room with a four-night minimum.

Coach’s Club ($1,000 - $2,499)
5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Sunday, March 25
Patrons can purchase up to 2 tickets per account. Each purchase of 1-2 tickets requires the purchase of a minimum of one hotel room with a four-night minimum.

Captain’s Club ($50 - $999) and Non-Donor Men’s Basketball Season Ticket Holders
8:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Sunday, March 25
Patrons can purchase up to 2 tickets per account. Each purchase of 1-2 tickets requires the purchase of a minimum of one hotel package, which is one room with a four-night minimum.

The sale of Ticket, Hotel and Travel packages are first-come, first-served, once a priority period has started based on annual giving level. Donors are eligible to purchase game ticket, hotel, and travel packages during their priority period based on 2011 annual giving level, and any period following it. Donors are not eligible to order packages prior to their individual order period. Donor giving levels will be verified and any patron booking prior to order period will be notified.

Packages will be on-sale until supplies have been exhausted, or 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 25, whichever comes first. Availability for game tickets and hotel accommodations is limited.

Should you not exceed the game ticket limit based on annual giving level through your purchase of a hotel/air package, you have the opportunity to request game tickets only through the Athletic Ticket Office as noted above.

Can I request/ purchase game tickets through both options?
Patrons may request/purchase up to the maximum number of tickets available based on annual giving level (quantities noted below), regardless of which option(s) is chosen. This includes tickets purchased through the “Game Tickets, Hotel, Travel Package” and tickets requested through the “Game Tickets Only” option.

If Game Ticket, Hotel and Travel Packages sell out before Monday, March 26, can I still request game tickets?
Yes, donors and men’s basketball season ticket holders will have until 1 p.m. on Monday, March 26 to request the “Game Ticket Only” option.

When will package pricing be announced?
Should Wisconsin advance to the Final Four, all package pricing will be announced shortly following the buzzer on Saturday, March 24 online at AnthonyTravel.com. Please enter “Badgers” in the search window.

What nights are included in hotel packages?
Hotel packages are a four-night minimum – the nights of Friday, March 30 through Monday, April 2. Patrons should be aware that institutions participating in the Final Four are financially obligated by the NCAA to a large block of hotel rooms. Can I buy a “Game Ticket Only” package through Anthony Travel?
No, requests for “Game Tickets Only” are not available through Anthony Travel. Tickets only may be requested through the Wisconsin Athletic Ticket Office via UWBadgers.com or by calling 1-800-GO-BADGERS until 1 p.m. on Monday, March 26.

What airfare will be offered?
Air travel will be offered departing Friday, March 30 and leaving New Orleans on Tuesday, April 3.

How do I pay?
A credit card is required for all sales. Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express are accepted.

Can I cancel my order once confirmed?
No, all sales are final.

Will game tickets be mailed in advance?
No, all tickets will be available for pick up in New Orleans, Louisiana (details provided on the evening of Monday, March 26 by email).





NCAA Tournament - Student Season Ticket Holders

Men's basketball student season ticket holders will have an opportunity to participate in a sale of NCAA Tournament tickets for each round Wisconsin competes. UW students who are not men's basketball season ticket holders are not eligible to participate in the student season ticket holder sale of NCAA Tournament tickets, and are invited to participate in any public sale of NCAA Tournament tickets.

Please note that students purchasing NCAA Tournament tickets must pick up their tickets on site wherever Wisconsin is scheduled to play. Tickets will not be available for pick up in Madison.

NCAA Tournament – Final Four Tickets (March 31 & April 2)

Should Wisconsin advance to the Final Four, student season ticket holders will be sent an e-mail with information regarding Final Four tickets. Information will also be posted online at UWbadgers.com when it becomes available.
