Lottery System

Patrons are reminded that the UW Athletic Department utilizes a lottery system for all on-sale dates. For any given on-sale, patrons wishing to participate in the lottery should arrive approximately 1 ½ to 1 hour prior to the start of the sale. For example, patrons should arrive between 7:00 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. for a sale that starts at 8:30 a.m.

In addition, patrons should be aware that approximately 15 to 30 minutes prior to the sale, the lottery line will be ended to allow time for the drawing and for re-organizing the line. For example, at some point between 8:00 a.m. and 8:15 a.m., the line will be ended for an 8:30 a.m. on-sale. Individuals arriving after the lottery line ends will need to wait until all the lottery participants have been serviced before purchasing tickets.

Prohibited items

For the safety and security of all patrons, certain items are prohibited, including, but not limited to: any food or beverage items, cans, bottles, coolers, thermoses, backpacks, large bags (gym, duffel, and tote), luggage, strollers, laser pointers, banners, flags, signs, noisemakers, weapons, balloons or beach balls.

All patrons entering the Kohl Center are subject to search. Storage facilities are not available for checking prohibited items.

All tickets for concerts and special events at the Kohl Center are sold through the Wisconsin Athletic Ticket Office. Tickets may be purchased online at uwbadgers.com, over the phone at 608-262-1440 or 1-800-GO-BADGERS, or in person at the McGinnis Family Wisconsin Athletic Ticket Office, in Kellner Hall at Camp Randall Stadium.
