Recruit and Hire UW Student-Athletes. Here's How...
Student-Athlete Career Night: Employers will network with some of the top talent at UW-Madison. Through a networking dinner and career fair hosted annually in February, you will have the opportunity to network with over 100 dedicated student-athletes looking to advance their careers.
Badger Shadow Experience: Employers will have an opportunity to host student-athletes to “shadow” in their work environment. Student-athletes will be exposed to your organization and you can connect to future talent. (more info...)
Career Panel: Employers will be able to meet and talk with UW student-athletes who are interested in learning more about a specific industry and unique careers.
Mock-Interviews: Employers will be able to participate in employer-student-athlete role-playing events as a part of the Counseling Psychology 110-Career Strategies course.
Badger Internship Program: Internships allow student-athletes to draw connections between their classroom education and its application to their chosen field. During internships students gain valuable professional experiences such as experience a career before committing to it, develop problem solving skills by working on real world problems, practice the communication and interpersonal skills needed to be successful and develop relationships with industry professionals and faculty.
BuckyNet: BuckyNet is a campus-wide software program that connects students and employers. Students can post resumes and create profiles, while employers can search for talent and post current openings.
