What is BuckyNet and how can it help me?
BuckyNet is an internet-based-on-campus recruiting and job posting system for students. Creating and maintaining a BuckyNet account will enable you to search for jobs and internships, schedule on-campus interviews and advising appointments, and more.
How do I access BuckyNet?
Several schools and colleges on campus have portals to BuckyNet. It is important to register through the correct one.
- If you are a pre-Business student, you must register through your home school or college in order to use BuckyNet:
- If you are admitted to the Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) or the Certificate in Business (CIB) program, you will register for BuckyNet through: https://bus-wisc-csm.symplicity.com/students
- If your School/College does not use BuckyNet, you may request access through the Wisconsin School of Business at (608) 262-2550 or firstname.lastname@example.org
- College of Engineering students, you must register through your home school in order to use ECS: https://ecs.engr.wisc.edu/schubert/employer/login/login.php
Your first step in posting your opportunity and recruiting students is to log onto the Wisconsin BBA home page at http://bus.wisc.edu/BBA/employers to request a BuckyNet account. On the right hand side of the page you will find “New Employer Register”. Click on “Employer” and you will be able to add your employer information. Simply click on “Submit” and your account will be approved by the Employer Relations staff. After your registration is approved you will be emailed a password which, along with your e-mail address, will allow you to login to BuckyNet on our website to access our services, including the job board. After logging in, simply click on “Create Non-OCR Job Posting” to post your position. Positions will be posted for a maximum of 30 days.
