Beyond the Game (BTG)
BTG is an initiative to strengthen the post-graduation trajectories for student-athletes. The University's “Beyond the Game Initiative" confronts the challenge of student-athletes who face the end of their eligibility to play without identifying viable careers beside professional sports.
Student-Athletes Equally Supporting Others (SAESO)
A registered student organization that strives to bring together student-athletes of different cultures, ethnicities, lifestyles, and belief systems to enhance their experience on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus. SAESO focuses on leadership, education, service, and social interactions between UW-Madison students and student athletes.
Badger Connections Barbeque
An event held each summer which provides UW student-athletes an opportunity to network with UW faculty & staff, UW coaches and Madison community members. This event allows student-athletes to build relationships with a diverse group of individuals to expand their network and continue their career development.
You Can Play
You Can Play is a social activism campaign dedicated to eliminating homophobia within sports, with a mission of creating inclusive atmospheres within Wisconsin locker rooms, increasing positive and accepting language, and supporting all athletes regardless of sexual orientation.
