Register for Volleyball 101 for Kids   |  Buy Season Tickets

MADISON, Wis. -- Mark your calendars for two family friendly fan events that the Wisconsin Volleyball team will host in August. Volleyball 101 for Kids presented by American Family Insurance is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 12 while the Fan Fest and Cardinal vs. White Scrimmage presented by HotelRED will take place on Saturday, Aug. 23.

Volleyball 101 for Kids presented by American Family Insurance is an opportunity for kids’ ages 5 to 12 to learn the game of volleyball or improve their skills. The session on Aug. 12 includes one hour of instruction from the Badgers, plus a pizza party with the team. While the event is free, registration is required. Check in for the session begins at 5:30 p.m. with the on-court activities running from 6-7 p.m. Pizza party to follow. Register today as enrollment is limited.

The Wisconsin Volleyball Fan Fest and Scrimmage presented by HotelRED is set for Saturday, Aug. 23 in the UW Field House. The fun begins at 2 p.m. with the Fan Fest. Kids can participate in both on and off-court activities with the Badgers. At 3:30 p.m., the team hits the court for their annual Cardinal vs. White intrasquad scrimmage. This is the first opportunity to see the 2014 Badgers under head coach Kelly Sheffield prior to the season.

The Wisconsin volleyball team opens its season on Aug. 29-30, traveling to the Big Ten/ACC Challenge at the University of Minnesota. The Badgers’ home season kicks off on Sept. 12-13 with the HotelRED Invitational in the UW Field House. Single match tickets go on sale Wednesday, Aug. 20.
