MADISON, Wis. - It's Spring Break at UW and time to meet the new volleyball staff!
Assistant coach Gary White comes to UW after serving as a volunteer assistant coach for two years under head coach Kelly Sheffield at Dayton. White took an unusual path to coaching as he spent five years as a systems analyst for Lockheed Martin and The SI Organization in the Washington, D.C., area before turning to coaching.

Why did you decide to coach at the University of Wisconsin? Having spent only a few days in Madison, I immediately felt the excitement of a city, a strong community, and a university that supports everything it means to become the best you can be. I've been able to follow UW since I was in college and to be able to become part of the great traditions here is amazing. Wisconsin offers the best of what a college experience is all about: a world-class education, an excellent athletic department, being a part of a capital city, and on top of all that, you are surrounded by a community that supports you to push for greatness.
