MADISON, Wis. - After one of the most successful and exciting years in Wisconsin volleyball history, season tickets for 2014 are on sale now through Feb. 28. This sale is for new season ticket holders only as returning season ticket holders will have the opportunity to order their season tickets beginning in May.
For each new season ticket purchased during this exclusive sales period, fans will receive a commemorative 2013 NCAA Volleyball National Finalist pint glass.
"The team is back in the gym and weight room working harder than ever in order to make 2014 an even better year than 2013,” UW head coach Kelly Sheffield said. “The support we received this year was incredible and I am looking forward to even greater support moving forward. We want to continue to make the Field House the best place to play volleyball in the country!"
The Badgers finished the 2013 season as the NCAA runners up, losing in the national championship match to Big Ten Conference champion Penn State. Wisconsin returns two All-Americans for 2014 and loses only one senior from the 2013 squad.
Reserved tickets are $45 while general admission seats are $30 for adults and $15 for youth (ages 2-17), UW-Madison students, and seniors (ages 55-plus). A family season ticket package, which includes four general admission season tickets, is $75.
Season ticket holders receive other benefits, including the first opportunity to purchase NCAA tickets, should Wisconsin be selected to host tournament matches.
2013 season ticket holders will be able to order their season tickets and purchase additional season tickets beginning on May 29 with a deadline of July 11. Current season ticket holders will also receive the commemorative pint glass for each season ticket purchased during the order period.
