MADISON, Wis. – The Badgers will hit the road again this weekend, as they participate in the Wildcat Invitational in Evanston, Ill., from Oct. 12-14. The tournament begins on Friday morning before concluding on Sunday afternoon.

Wisconsin hopes to build on a number of encouraging performances at last weekend’s Spartan Invitational. Lauren Chypyha will look to continue her stellar start to her freshman season. Coming off a Draw B Singles championship in East Lansing, Mich., expectations are high for Chypyha’s follow-up act.

Fellow freshmen Lauren Burich, Helen Rabot and Pernilla Wohlstrom all won a match at the Spartan Invitational, and will look to continue that trend in Evanston.

Meanwhile, steady senior Hannah Berner will look to build on her straight-set victory over Lexy Pitt in the first round of the Draw A singles last weekend in East Lansing.

Results will be posted on UWBadgers.com at the conclusion of each day’s matches.
