MADISON, Wis. --The Wisconsin women’s tennis team will compete in their third straight invitational this weekend at Evanston, Ill. in the Wildcat Invite.
Last weekend at the Spartan Invitational, Lauren Chypyha won the Draw A championship and Anastasia Tripolskaya was the runner-up in Draw B. After the Gopher Invitational and the Spartan Invitational, Chypyha now stands with a record of 7-1 and Tripolskaya is now 6-2.
The Badgers will be one of 11 teams competing this weekend. They will be joining host Northwestern, Minnesota, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, Virginia, Princeton, NC State, DePaul and Illinois-Chicago.

In singles action, Wisconsin will be represented by Chypyha in the Purple Flight, Sydney Rider in the Red Flight, Tripolskaya in the White Flight, Lauren Burich in the Green Flight and Helen Rabot in the Blue Flight.
In doubles play, Chypyha and Rabot will pair up along with Rider and Burich in the Yellow Flight and Rooney of Northwestern will team with Tripolskaya in the Brown Flight.
The Wildcat Invitational is set to begin Friday morning and conclude Sunday afternoon.
