Before Wisconsin: Played for the Heritage Academy at Hilton Head Island under head coach Jolene ... earned a national doubles title as a freshman, and only lost one doubles match as a sophomore ... made deep runs in the tournaments in both her junior and senior years, reaching the finals of a sectional tournament as a junior before making the finals of a southern level three tournament as a senior ... earned the Social Studies award and volunteered at the Montclair food kitchen while in high school ... played basketball and was a member of the swimming team in addition to tennis
