Ivy Martin earns All-Big Ten honors after winning UW's lone individual conference crown
2011-12: Had a phenomenal freshman season in the freestyle, as well as in multiple relays ... snagged a string of second-place finishes in the 50 free, finishing as the runner-up at the Milwaukee Dual (24.00), Minnesota Dual (23.38), Arizona Dual (23.46), Northwestern Dual (23.27) and Big Ten Quad Duals (23.12) ... gained her only first-place finish in the event of the season at the Arizona State Dual, posting a time of 23.59 .... also in the 50 free, finished 19th at the Texas Invitational (22.86), and posted her best time of the season at the Big Ten Championships, where she took third place (22.60) ... contended in the 100 free, taking sixth at the Minnesota Dual (52.52), third at the Arizona State Dual (52.78), second at the Northwestern Dual (51.38), 28th at the Texas Invitational (50.94), and posting a season-best time of 50.05 in her 17th-place finish at the Big Ten Championships ... was a part of the 200 free relay team that took second at both the Arizona (1:34.34) and Arizona State (1:34.77) Duals, fifth place at the Texas Invitational (1:30.40), first at the Big Ten Quad Duals (1:32.31), and eventually won a Big Ten Championship with a top time of 1:28.46 ... contributed to the 400 free relay's second-place finish at the Minnesota Dual (3:26.25), 13th-place time of 3:23.94 at the Texas Invitational, and season-best, third-place time at the Big Ten Quad Duals (3:22.93) ... a member of the 200 medley relay that took third at the Minnesota Dual (1:46.40), second at the Northwestern Dual (1:44.20), and 11th at the Texas Invitational (1:42.28) ... also raced in the 400 medley relay at the Texas Invitational, capturing 12th place with a time of 3:43.98 ... earned NCAA 'B' qualifying times in three different events; the 50 free, 100 free and 200 free relay
