MADISON, Wis. -- A strong arm can lead a softball team to new heights and that is exactly what Andrea Kirchberg did as a member of the Wisconsin softball team from 2000-03. Kirchberg led the Badgers to their first NCAA tournament appearance in 2001 -- posting the school’s first-ever regional win -- and set numerous career, single-season and single-game records in her storied career.

She earned Big Ten Player of the Week honors six times and was selected  third-team All-Big Ten in 2000, first-team All-Big Ten in 2002 and third-team All-Big Ten in 2003.
