Today we feature the Wisconsin softball team's win over Green Bay to extend their seven game winning streak as a nominee for the Game of the Year.

MADISON, Wis. –In the bottom of the seventh, senior Mary Massei stepped into the box with only one thing on her mind.
“This is what I’m here for.”
To pick up their second walk-off win, the Badgers came back to win in dramatic fashion in the seventh inning after being down four runs. Trailing 8-4 heading into the final frame, the Badgers strung together a combination of strong hits and solid base running to pick up its second walk-off win of the week.
Leading off the bottom of the last inning, Michelle Mueller walked and was followed by a double to left field from Stephanie Peace. Next up at the plate, Chloe Miller smashed UW’s second-straight double into right center field to bring them within two runs.
Marissa Mersch put runners on first and third with no outs after a base hit to left field. The Badgers came within one run when Ashley Van Zeeland sacrifice bunted to bring Miller into home and place Mersch at second.
Having already singled and tripled in the game, Katie Christner drilled in a double and brought Mersch in to tie the score at eight. Megan Tancill grounded out but moved Christner to third.
Massei stepped up to complete the comeback with a game-winning single down the right field line to clinch the win for the Badgers.
Cassandra Darrah gained her 14th win of the season, striking out and walking two.
Wisconsin swept its third-consecutive series at Goodman Diamond against Green Bay and clinched its seventh victory in a row.
