• Wisconsin's season continues in Florida this weekend when it travels to the FIU Classic Feb. 14-16. The Badgers (2-2) will play Florida International (4-1), Florida Golf Coast (5-0-1) and Georgia Southern (3-1) in a round-robin tournament.

• Georgia Southern's only loss this season was a 1-0 defeat to top-ranked No. 1 Tennessee at the Eagle Round Robin Tournament last weekend. The Eagles posted a pair of wins over Oakland and beat Northern Colorado 9-1 to cap off opening weekend on their home field.

• UW is 4-0 all-time against GSU following a three-game sweep a year ago in Orlando, Fla. Cassandra Darrah threw a complete-game no-hitter against the Eagles on Feb. 22, 2013, marking the first Badger no-hitter in 12 seasons. Wisconsin outscored the Eagles 13-4 during the three-game series.

• Florida Gulf Coast opened action at home, posting six unbeaten games on their home field. The final game of the tournament, against Western Kentucky, was stopped short due to a travel curfew resulting in a 1-1 tie.

• The Badgers only match-up against the Eagles was a 5-4, eight inning, win in Miami during the 2010 season.

• Tournament host, FIU, is playing in its second-consecutive home tournament. Last weekend, the Panthers won four-straight before suffering a 1-0 loss to DePaul. The Panthers defeated future Big Ten Conference foe Maryland twice and posted a win over Jacksonville and DePaul.

• FIU leads the series with the Badgers 4-3. In a series that dates back to 1999, the Badgers earned a 3-2 win in the last match-up in 2010. Wisconsin is 1-1 all-time against FIU in Miami.

Sophomore Taylor-Paige Stewart etched her name in the UW record books on Saturday when she threw her first career no-hitter against Bethune Cookman. Stewart pitched five complete innings, holding the Wildcats hitless, striking out two and walking two. The Badgers plated eight runs on nine hits and committed one error in the 8-0 victory.

Senior Cassandra Darrah picked up her first win of the season against Illinois State on Feb. 8, marking her 66th career victory at UW and moving her into second all-time. Andrea Kirchberg tops the record list with 87 career wins.

Senior Stephanie Peace started her final campaign with a bang last weekend. Peace homered on the first pitch she saw against Florida on Feb. 7. Peace went on to knock two more long balls over the fence, finishing the weekend with three homers, five RBI and a 1.300 slugging percentage.

Peace recorded just five long balls all of the 2013 season. The shortstop now ranks seventh on the Badgers' career record list with 17 homers.

Freshman Chloe Miller opened her collegiate campaign with a bang last weekend. Miller started behind the plate all four games, caught a no-hitter and hit a pair of home runs. The lefty finished opening weekend with a .250 batting average, scored three runs and posted three RBI on her way to a 1.000 slugging percentage.
