Why Wisconsin?

"Being born and raised in Wisconsin, I have developed a deep appreciation for the rich tradition and enormous amount of pride that goes along with representing this University. The opportunity to receive such a high level degree from one of the best schools in the nation, paired with the unique history of Wisconsin athletics, has made the opportunities that we receive here as student-athletes second to none."

Off the Field with Maria

Before each game I ... (do what): Before each game I pray during the national anthem.

One thing I absolutely have to do before I turn 40:
I would love to travel to Ireland.

Favorite Coach quote (Healy, Schneider or Dow):
"Trust the process" - Coach Healy

Favorite quote:
"The highs aren't so high and the lows aren't so low"

Most memorable softball achievement or favorite softball moment:
The most memorable softball achievement I have had thus far in my softball career was beating national-ranked Michigan to advance to the finals of the Big 10 tournament and winning the Big 10 championship verse Minnesota in 2013. It was an unforgettable experience that I was fortunate enough to be a part of with an amazing group of friends and coaches.
