• 2013 Big Ten Women's Soccer Tournament Bracket
MADISON, Wis. -- For the fifth-consecutive season, the University of Wisconsin women’s soccer team will make an appearance in the postseason, as the Badgers earned the No. 6 seed in the 2013 Big Ten Women’s Soccer Tournament.
Wisconsin will travel to Champaign, Ill., to battle third-seeded Penn State on Wed., Nov. 6, in the tournament’s opening match at 10:30 a.m. CT.
The Badgers own a 2-2-1 record in their last five match-ups with the Nittany Lions, dating back to 2010.
UW and Penn State will meet for just the fourth time at a neutral site venue. It will be their first meeting on neutral soil since 2002.
The Big Ten Women’s Soccer Tournament semifinals will begin at 11 a.m. CT on Friday, Nov. 8, while the tournament will conclude with the championship game at 1 p.m. CT on Sunday, Nov. 10.
BTN will stream the quarterfinals live on the Big Ten Digital Network, while the semifinals and finals will be available live on both BTN and BTN2Go.
The tournament will be hosted by the University of Illinois. The tournament champion will automatically earn a bid to the 2013 NCAA Championships.
