MADISON, Wis. - The 5th Annual PAC the MAC doubleheader soccer event will take place on Friday, Sept. 6, at the McClimon Complex. The UW women's soccer team will kick off the event by hosting Vanderbilt at 5 p.m., followed by a duel between the men's squad and Western Michigan at 7:30 p.m.
The event marks the beginning of both the men's and women's regular-season home openers.
The Wisconsin soccer programs will also be celebrating Youth Soccer Month by dedicating the PAC the MAC event to our state-wide youth talent. Promotional activities for young players include:
-Free Admission for youth team players wearing their team jersey to the event
-Fun entertainment including an inflatable goal kick game, a goal celebration contest, face painting, and appearance by our beloved Bucky Badger
-Participate in the Youth Team Tunnel, where all youth players will be invited to the field to make a tunnel for the team to run through during team introductions
If you would like to bring a youth team out to the PAC the MAC event, please fill out and return a registration form to help us accommodate all youth players that will be in attendance. Teams who complete this form will also receive free admission for up to three adult supervisors.
In addition to activities for youth team players, there are chances for all fans to win prizes. Fans will receive an official Wisconsin fan flag (while supplies last) upon entering the complex. In addition, all fans can enter our prize raffle to win:
-Wisconsin soccer scarf (2 chances to win)
-Pair of football tickets (2 chances to win)
