Madison, Wis. – The Wisconsin women’s lightweight rowing team unveiled its tentative 2013-14 schedule on Monday, which includes a three race fall season and trips to Tennessee and California in the spring.

Wisconsin opens the fall season at the Milwaukee River Challenge on Sept. 21 before heading to Rockford, Ill., to compete in the Head of the Rock on Oct. 13. The Badgers cap off the fall season at the nation’s oldest regatta, Boston’s prestigious Head of the Charles, on Oct. 20.

UW’s spring season begins at Tennessee on March 15. After an off-week, the Badgers return to competition on March 29, at the Pac-12 Challenge in Redwood City, Calif.

The Badgers then head to the east coast for the Knecht Cup on April 13 and the Boston Round Robin on April 19.

The season culminates with a trip to Cherry Hill, N.J., for the conference championship on May 3.

Wisconsin hopes to extend its season for another month, as the IRA National Championships run from May 30 – June 1 in West Windsor, N.J. Should the Badgers qualify, they will look to add to their string of top-three finishes, a streak that dates back to 2000.
