Women's lightweight rowing ready for IRA national championships

MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin women’s lightweight rowing team is ready for the 2013 Intercollegiate Rowing Association National Championships, which are being held on Lake Natoma in Gold River, Calif., May 31-June 2.

 2013 IRA National Championships
• Varsity Eight: Heat 1 - Saturday, 10 a.m. (CT)
• Varsity Four: Heat 1 - Saturday, 10:30 a.m. (CT)

The Badgers have two boats entered in the regatta and begin competition on Saturday morning in the first heat of the varsity eight. The first and second place finishers in the heats advance to the grand final. The varsity four will race following the varsity eights race at 8:30 a.m.

Live video streams of the regatta will be available at d3cast.com/rowing/ira. Broadcasts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, will begin at 9:30 a.m. (CT), but Saturday is likely to start at 9 a.m. due to weather concerns.
