Todd Vogt is in his second season as an assistant coach for the Wisconsin women's lightweight rowing team. Vogt came to the Badgers from the University of Portland, where he served as the Pilots' assistant coach and led the team's novices.

Prior to that, Vogt was an assistant at D-III Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Ore., from 2011-12 and at Williamette University in Salem, Ore., from 2009-11, helping the Bearcat women to a No. 12 national ranking.

While at the Pennsylvania Athletic Club, the lightweight eight boat Vogt coached won at the USRowing Club Nationals.

Vogt began his coaching career in 2005 as an assistant with Lake Oswego Community Rowing in Portland, where he worked with both juniors and masters rowers. He rowed at the University of Buffalo for four years and with the West Side Rowing Club in Buffalo (1997-00) and the Portland Boat Club (2000-2013) following his collegiate career.

Vogt serves and is reunited with UW lightweight head coach Lisa Schlenker. The two previously coached together at Lake Oswego Community Rowing during Vogt's time there.
