MADISON, Wis. – The No. 14 Wisconsin women’s rowing team is ready to host Minnesota and Michigan State this Sunday, May 5, for the team’s lone regatta on Lake Mendota.

 Minnesota / Michigan State Regatta - Sunday, May 5
• 8:00 a.m. - Second Varsity Four
• 8:15 a.m. - Varsity Four
• 8:30 a.m. - Break
• 8:45 a.m. - Novice Eight
• 9:00 a.m. - Second Novice Eight
• 9:15 a.m. - Second Varsity Eight
• 9:30 a.m. - Varsity Eight

Competition begins at 8 a.m., with racing being conducted on the course starting in University Bay and finishing in front of the Memorial Union, weather permitting.

The regatta will be the final competition for the Badgers until heading to the 2013 Big Ten Championships on May 19 in Indianapolis.

Last Time Out
The Badgers were on the water last weekend in Lake Monticello, Va., taking on Duke and Virginia. Wisconsin swept the Blue Devils in all three races, while the defending NCAA champion Cavaliers posted wins over Wisconsin in the first and second varsity eights. The Badgers’ varsity four beat Virginia’s by nearly five seconds, and won Big Ten Boat of the Week honors for their efforts on Lake Monticello.
