MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin women’s rowing team competed in a shortened second day of racing at the 2013 NCAA Rowing Championships in Indianapolis.

Wisconsin’s varsity eight was the only boat to race, as the second varsity eight and varsity four semifinals were rescheduled to Sunday due to weather.

Racing in the C/D semifinal, the Badgers claimed third-place to advance to the C finals with a time of 8:02.152. The Badger’s started off the first 500 meters in second place, but fell behind Oklahoma halfway through, as the field finished with open water between each boat.

The varsity eight will race in the C final, for places 13-18, on Sunday, June 2, at 7:40 a.m. (CT). The second varsity eight races in its semifinal at 7 a.m. (CT), while the varsity four begins at 7:10 a.m. (CT)
