2012-2013 (Senior): Rowed the open eight "C" boat to a third-place finish at the Milwaukee River Challenge.
2011-2012 (Junior): Bow of the silver medal-winning varsity four squad at the Big Ten Championships ... served as bow of the varsity four that earned a bronze medal at the NCAA Championships.
2010-2011 (Sophomore): Served as bow of the victorious second varsity four boat as it defeated Oklahoma on day two of the Longhorn Invitational.
High School: Played two years volleyball and competed for three years in track
Personal: Parents are John and Holly Orwin... major is kinesiology
Reason for choosing UW - Madison: Big school, close to home and the rowing team.
What Wisconsin Rowing means to you: I love sports and trying new things and so rowing seems like a great opportunity to me. I enjoy meeting new people and I dedicate myself to my work. I think Wisconsin rowing is perfect for me.
