MADISON, Wis. -- Tickets for the women’s hockey WCHA first-round playoff series go on-sale Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. Tickets will be available to purchase in person at the Athletic Ticket Office located at Camp Randall Stadium, over the phone at 1-800-GO-BADGERS or online at UWBADGERS.com.
The Badgers will play the best-of-three series in LaBahn Arena, March 1-3. The first two games will start at 7 p.m., and the third will start at 4 p.m., if necessary. Wisconsin’s opponent has yet to be determined, but will be Minnesota State, St. Cloud State or Bemidji State.
Only tickets for March 1 and 2 will be available for advance purchase. If a third game on March 3 is necessary, tickets will be available for purchase immediately following the conclusion of the second game in person at the Kohl Center ticket office located in the Gate B lobby and also online at UWBagders.com. If available, any remaining tickets will be sold at the door beginning one hour prior to face-off.
Ticket prices will be $5 for adults and $2 for UW students, senior citizens (55+) and youth, ages 2-17. Children under the age of two do not need a ticket. All tickets will be general admission. Season tickets, promotional coupons, sports passes or red cards are not valid for admission to WCHA playoff games.
All tickets ordered prior to noon on Friday, Feb. 22 will be mailed. Any tickets ordered after noon Feb. 22 will be held at Will Call. Tickets at Will Call will be available at the Athletic Ticket Office at Camp Randall until 4:30 p.m. on Friday, March 1. On game day, Will Call will be open beginning one hour prior to face-off at the West Gate of LaBahn Arena.
The winner of the playoff series will advance to the 2013 WCHA Final Face-Off in Minneapolis at Ridder Arena on March 8 and 9. Final Face-Off tickets may be purchased through the Gopher Ticket Office by calling 1-800-UGOPHER or by visiting GopherSports.com.
