WCHA first round playoff tickets on sale now

MADISON, Wis. -- Tickets for the Wisconsin women's hockey WCHA first-round playoff series against Minnesota State are now on sale. Tickets are available to purchase in person at the Athletic Ticket Office located at Camp Randall Stadium, over the phone at 1-800-GO-BADGERS or online at UWBadgers.com.

The Badgers will play the best-of-three series in LaBahn Arena, Feb. 28-March 2. The first two games will start at 7 p.m., and the third will start at 4 p.m., if necessary.

Only tickets for Feb. 28 and March 1 are available for purchase at this time. If a third game on March 2 is necessary, tickets will be available for purchase immediately following the conclusion of the second game in person at the LaBahn Arena ticket windows and also online at UWBadgers.com. If available, any remaining tickets will be sold at the door beginning one hour prior to face-off.

Ticket prices will be $5 for adults and $2 for UW students, senior citizens (55+) and youth, ages 2-17. Children under the age of 2 do not need a ticket, provided they sit on the lap of a parent or guardian. All tickets will be general admission. Season tickets, promotional coupons, sports passes or red cards are not valid for admission to WCHA playoff games.

All tickets ordered prior to noon on Friday, Feb. 21 will be mailed. Any tickets ordered after noon Feb. 21 will be held at will call. Tickets at will call will be available at the Athletic Ticket Office at Camp Randall until 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 28. On game day, will call will be open beginning one hour prior to face-off at the West Gate of LaBahn Arena.

With the WIAA Individual State Wrestling Tournament going on simultaneously, a limited amount of event parking will be available for purchase for $8 in lots 91, 46, 29 and 83. Lots 87 and 48 will also be available to patrons with accessible needs. Should there be a third game on Sunday, March 2, parking will be free in lot 91.

The winner of the playoff series will advance to the 2013 WCHA Final Face-Off in Bemidji, Minn. at the Sanford Center on March 7 and 8. Final Face-Off tickets may be purchased through the Sanford Center Box Office by calling 1-218-441-4032 or by visiting http://www.thesanfordcenter.net/tickets.
