MADISON, Wis. - Senior Carolyne Prévost was named Offensive Player of the Week by the Western Collegiate Hockey Association on Wednesday.
A native of Sarnia, Ontario, Prévost scored four goals and set up three others for seven points in the weekend series against No. 6 North Dakota. She fired 11 shots on goal and earned a +3 plus/minus rating as Wisconsin beat UND, 8-2, and tied, 4-4, at Grand Forks N.D., last weekend.
In the series opener, she had a goal and three assists and in game two she scored the first three Badger goals to record her second hat trick of the season.
In 17 games played this season, Prévost has 36 points on 17 goals and 19 assists to rank fourth in scoring among the Badgers.
Not having played a home game since Thanksgiving weekend, the Badgers return to the Kohl Center to take on Minnesota Duluth this Friday and Saturday. Both games will start at 2 p.m.
