Ross LaDue is in his first year as a staff assistant at Wisconsin. LaDue serves as the primary contact for the Badgers' women's hockey, men's rowing and women's lightweight rowing program while overseeing the coverage for the men's and women's swimming and diving teams.
Prior to joining the staff at Wisconsin, he spent two years as a graduate assistant with the athletic media relations office at Bemidji State University in Bemidji, Minn. In those two years LaDue served as the primary contact for Bemidji State's women's soccer, women's hockey, and softball programs. He aided in media relations duties at the 2011 NCAA Men's Frozen Four as well.
A 2009 graduate of Iowa State University, LaDue served one year as an undergraduate assistant in the Athletics Communications office at Iowa State where he assisted with office and game-day duties, while also helping with event photography. In 2009 he assisted with the media relations staff for the 2009 Big 12 Women's Basketball Tournament in Oklahoma, City.
Prior to working for Iowa State's Athletics Communications office, LaDue worked two years at the student newspaper, the Iowa State Daily, as a staff photographer and later as photography editor. In the spring of 2008, he spent one semester studying sports media at the University of Canberra located in Canberra, Australia.
The Elk Grove, Calif. native is a 2009 graduate of Iowa State University obtaining a degree in journalism with an emphasis in public relations and an area of concentration in sport studies.
