RESULTS

MADISON, Wis. -- Wisconsin is in fifth place after two rounds of the 54-hole Diane Thomason Invitational held at Finkbine Golf Course in Iowa City, Iowa. UW is nine strokes off the pace with a 33-over par 304-305--609.

Illinois leads the 12-team field with one of just two sub-300 team rounds in the tournament at 24-over 299-301--600. Kansas has the other sub-300 round to place second with 303-298--601.

Illinois' Stephanie Miller set the scoring pace shooting an even-par 70-74--144. Playing in windy conditions, only three players shot under par today and that was in the first round.

Senior Kris Yoo continues to pace Wisconsin with another top-10 performance at 7-over par 75-76--151. Junior Kimberly Dinh is tied for 19th with a 9-over 78-75--153. Freshman Brooke Ferrell and senior Alexis Nelson are tied for 25th at 11-over par. Aaren Ziegler rounded out the team scoring tying for 33rd with a 12-over 81-75--156.

Playing as an individual in her first collegiate tournament, freshman Michelle Cheung is tied at 62nd with an 18-over par 81-81--162.

The tournament will conclude with 18-holes Sunday in a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. CT. Live scoring is available at golfstat.com.
