EAST LANSING, Mich. Wisconsin turned in a consistent performance and is in the middle of the pack after two rounds of the 54-hole Mary Fossum Invitational in East Lansing, Mich. UW is eighth in the 17-team field with a 41-over par 309-308--617.
Purdue shot even par the first round and 2-over in the second and leads the tournament with 288-290--578.
Three players, including two from Purdue, are tied for first at 2-under par 142. Krista Puisite of Texas State, Paula Reto and Kahi Sinha of Purdue all share first-day medalist honors.
Lindsay Danielson, Wisconsin's leading scorer from a year ago, led the Badgers today tying for 26th with 75-78--153. Three other teammates are within two strokes with Kris Yoo 10-over with 78-76--154, and Kimberly Dinh and Aaren Ziegler tied at 37th with 11-over 155.
Play continues with the final 18-holes Sunday.
