GILBERT, Ariz. -- The University of Wisconsin women's golf team returned to action this weekend with a 29-7 dual match win against Colorado State.

The Badgers, ranked No. 43 by Golfweek, opened the spring season by beating the Rams in the 36-hole dual Feb. 16 at the Golf Club at Power Ranch in Gilbert, Ariz.

The scoring included three points available for each match: one point for the front side low score; one point for the back side low score; and one point for total score.

The Badgers return to Arizona Feb. 24-25 to host the 54-hole Westbrook Spring Invitational at Westbrook Village Golf Course in Peoria, Ariz.
