MADISON, Wis. -- A new loyalty program for Wisconsin women’s basketball launches Nov. 1, allowing fans to earn prizes for attending games. The loyalty program is part of a new, larger fan program called BadgersConnect, an initiative from the Athletic Department in partnership with the company SequentialT.
BadgersConnect allows fans to earn points for social media and game attendance to all ticketed sports, connect with other fans, play game predictions and more!
In addition to the benefits of BadgersConnect, fans who attend women’s basketball games are eligible for dedicated prizes. Game attendance is tracked through a process called Ticket-Linking™, a feature in BadgersConnect.
Here’s how it works.
When attending games, fans can text Badgers to 49432 from their smart phone, or go to Connect.UWBadgers.com. They then click on “Ticket-Link” for the game they’re attending, and enter in the barcode number from their ticket. That ticket gets “linked” to their fan account in the BadgersConnect program.
If a fan doesn’t yet have an account in the program, one will be created for them during the Ticket-Link process. Also, fans can find a BadgersConnect Ambassador at the game, who can assist them in Ticket-Linking and with other program features. Be sure to Ticket-Link at every game you attend!
For fans of Badger women’s basketball, this is a great program to earn rewards just for attending games.
