MADISON, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin women’s basketball team will make four live appearances on the Big Ten Network during the 2012-13 Big Ten Conference season, the league office announced today.
The Badgers’ first appearance comes at home in the Kohl Center when Iowa visits on Jan. 10. Tip time is at 7:30 p.m.
The other television appearances are all on the road. Wisconsin takes on Michigan on Jan. 13 live on the Network while UW’s game at Illinois on Feb. 18 will be shown to a national audience. The Badgers’ final regular-season game on the Big Ten Network will be at Northwestern on Feb. 23.
In addition, all first-round, second-round and semifinal games at the 2013 Big Ten Tournament will air live on the Big Ten Network with the championship game live on ESPN2. The tournament moves to the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates, Ill., this season and will be played March 7-10.
