Player of the Game
Senior Ashley Thomas led all scorers with 17 points, more than doubling her career high of seven points. The 6-2 post was 6-of-7 from the field and 5-of-5 from the line. Thomas also pulled down five rebounds, tying her career high. Thomas played a career high 26 minutes and also added one steal.

Stat of the Game
The Badgers had 30 turnovers in the game and 23 fouls.  The Warhawks turned the ball over 26 times and was whistled for 26 fouls.

Turning Point
Wisconsin held UW-Whitewater scoreless for more than eight minutes in the first half, going on a 20-0 run. The Badgers trailed 17-10 with 14:06 to play in the period and led 30-17 with 5:57 to go. Morgan Paige had seven points for the UW, including two 3-pointers.

Other Notes:

  • Cassie Rochel pulled down a career high 12 rebounds, including 10 defensive boards. The Badgers outrebounded the Warhawks 39-30.
  • The Badgers had four players in double-digit scoring behind Thomas. Senior Anya Covington added 13 rebounds while Jade Davis and Morgan Paige each scored 12 points.
  • Wisconsin shot 52.4 percent (22-of-42) from the field for the game, but was only 2-of-9 (.222) from 3-point range. The Badgers were 24-of-33 (.727) from the free throw line.
