BTN announces wrestling broadcast schedule

MADISON, Wis. - The Wisconsin wrestling team will see plenty of face time this season as the Big Ten Network has announced it will provide the most live coverage of Big Ten wrestling in network history.

Matches will be seen both live on television and streamed online on the Big Ten Digital Network (BTDN), which is available at BTN.com. Many of the streamed matches will also be televised on delay via Student U.

BTN’s live televised schedule includes coverage of the final session of the 50th Ken Kraft Midlands Championships in Evanston, Ill., at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 30, and coverage of the 2013 Big Ten Wrestling Championships in Champaign, Ill., beginning at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 10.

The Badgers will make five appearances on BTN this season, including having their Friday, Jan. 18, match at No. 2 Penn State broadcast live on television.
