Wisconsin to host 100th Big Ten wrestling championships

MADISON, Wis. -- The University of Wisconsin will host the 100th annual Big Ten wrestling championships March 8-9, in the Kohl Center. While the action is still a few months away, fans should plan ahead to get the best seats for the championship event.

Donors to Wisconsin Athletics at the Walk-On Club giving level and higher will enjoy an early access to purchase tickets beginning Tuesday, Nov. 12 at 8:30 a.m. Donors will have the ability to purchase reserved all-session tickets in the Wisconsin section until Friday, Jan. 31 at 4:30 p.m.All-session reserved school block tickets for the 2014 Big Ten Wrestling Championships are set to go on sale Monday, Nov. 18 at 8:30 a.m. to the general public. Fans have until Friday, Jan. 31 at 4:30 p.m. to purchase reserved all-session tickets. Each school’s fans will be able to purchase tickets through their respective school.

All tickets can be purchased online at UWBadgers.com or by phone at 1.800.GO.BADGERS or 608.262.1440.

All-session general admission tickets and single-session tickets will go on sale Wednesday, Feb. 5 at 8:30 a.m. If available, any remaining reserved all-session tickets and reserved single session tickets, will also be on-sale at this time.

The Wisconsin wrestling season gets underway Friday, Nov. 1, with the Intrasquad Scrimmage. Match time is 7 p.m. in the UW Field House. Admission is free. All fans will receive a team poster courtesy of the Wisconsin National Guard.
