MADISON, Wis.--The Big Ten Network announced its broadcast schedule for the 2009-10 wrestling season and the Badgers will make seven appearances, either on the network or Web streamed by the BigTenNetwork.com.

Five of Wisconsin's seven conference duals will be over the airwaves, along with the second day of the 2009 Midlands Championships and coverage of the 2010 Big Ten Championships.

Wisconsin's first Big Ten dual of the season is also the first conference dual to air on the Big Ten Network for the 2009-10 season. The Badgers host Indiana Jan. 22 at 7 p.m., and the Big Ten Network will broadcast live from the UW Field House.

That is Wisconsin's lone dual on the Big Ten Network, while four others will air live on BigTenNetwork.com and are available on a pay-per-view basis ($2.99 per event). The Badgers' annual Border Battle against Minnesota takes place in Minneapolis this year can be viewed live via the Web stream at 7 p.m.

The Badgers' final three home duals of the season also air live on the BigTenNetwork.com. Those duals include Penn State at 1 p.m. on Jan. 31, Northwestern at 7 p.m. on Feb. 19 and the season finale against Iowa at 1 p.m. on Feb. 21.

The only home dual that will not be covered by the Big Ten Network is Wisconsin's home opener against Old Dominion on Nov. 13. Fans can watch a Web stream of that dual on UWBadgers.com. In addition, Wisconsin's intra-squad scrimmage on Oct. 29 will be Web streamed on UWBadgers.com.
