MADISON, Wis. – The season is heating up for the No. 18 Wisconsin wrestling team and fans are encouraged to be a part of the action when the team hosts three home duals in February.
The Badgers are currently 9-4 overall and 3-1 in the Big Ten, including victories in Madison against top-10 ranked Illinois and Ohio State.
No. 6 Tyler Graff (133 lbs.) remains undefeated in conference bouts and is in pursuit of his fourth All-American honor, while No. 10 Ryan Taylor (125 lbs.), No. 7 Isaac Jordan (157 lbs.) and No. 10 Connor Medbery (Hwt.) have also earned a spot in the rankings.
As the Badgers continue their run through the second half of the schedule, there is plenty to be excited about. Fans are encouraged to participate in the following promotions and help the Badgers remain undefeated at home.
Fans also have the opportunity in March be part of welcoming some of the nation’s best wrestlers to Madison when Wisconsin hosts the 2014 Big Ten Wrestling Championships.
Sunday, February 2 at 1 p.m. vs. North Dakota State – YOUTH AND HIGH SCHOOL DAY
All pre-registered youth and high school wrestlers receive free admission. To register, email email@example.com or call 608-262-7453 for further details on how to claim tickets for your team. All youth and high school wrestlers must be registered no later than Thursday, Jan. 30th at 5 p.m. Following the match, the team will also host an autograph session.
Friday, February 21 at 7 p.m. vs. Nebraska
Come out and cheer loud to help us defeat Big Ten rival Nebraska! Complimentary take down foam fingers available while supplies last.
Sunday, February 23 at 1 p.m. vs. Iowa
This year’s senior will be honored prior to the start of the match. Following the match, the team will host a brief autograph session around the mat.
Saturday-Sunday, March 8-9: 2014 Big Ten Wrestling Championships – Kohl Center
The conference’s best clash at the Kohl Center. Tickets to the two-day event go on sale February 5.
