Trevor Brandvold is in his second year as an assistant coach at Wisconsin in 2013-14. He served as a volunteer assistant coach in 2011-12.

Brandvold specializes in leg riding, leg defense, low level attacks, and finishes. The Badgers have improved their team record, overall GPA and increased their involvement within the community each of Brandvold's three seasons on staff.

A two-time Big Ten champion and two-time All-American at 197 lbs., Brandvold has wrestled in the finals of the Olympic Trials and made the both the finals and semifinals of the U.S. Open in Freestyle at 96 k.g.

As a member of the Badgers' squad, Brandvold was named Most Outstanding Wrestler and team captain his senior year.

In high school, Brandvold was rated No. 1 at 189 lbs. by InterMat, The Mat and USA Wrestling. He posted a 46-0 record and Wisconsin State title at 189 lbs. his senior season, earning him first-team Asics All-America honors.

2007-08: Qualified for his second NCAA Championships ... did not place at NCAAs but finished 2-2 at the championship ... finished fourth at the 2008 Big Ten Championships ... it was his second fourth place finish at 184 lbs. in as many years ... placed seventh at the Cliff Keen Invite and third at the Body Bar Invite ... started at 184 lbs. for most of the season but a knee injury kept him out of two Big Ten duals ... finished the season 21-14 overall, 7-7 in duals and 1-4 in Big Ten duals.
