Off the Mat with Seth

First started wrestling: 2nd grade
My favorite thing about Wisconsin wrestling is: The tradition. Wisconsin Wrestling truly is one big family. We take care of one another here.
A non-athletic talent I have is: Ironing Jake Stilling's dress clothes
Before each match, I: Make sure my headgear fits
Most memorable wrestling achievement: Hugging my Dad after my 1st state title or 2 time All-American at Junior Fargo Freestyle Nationals.
One thing I absolutely have to do before I turn 40: Pilot license
Favorite Coach quote: “Name this song and I’ll take a minute off of live.” –Coach Hull
Best UW memory: When the football team upset #1 ranked Ohio St in Camp Randall.
If you were stranded on an island, which two teammates would you bring with you and why? Eric Peissig and Jake Stilling. Just because.
Greatest fear: When coach Ruschell combs his hair straight down.
What song would you put on the soundtrack to your life? Pick any song by Thomas Rhett.
What is your favorite movie line or scene? Animal House. The entire movie.
What is your favorite book? American Sniper
Favorite UW athlete? Alex Erickson - Small town Wisconsin guy doing big things. Inspiration for kids everywhere
Favorite athlete? Gabe Grahek

What does it mean to be a Badger?

"Being a Badger wrestler means that I get to attend one of the most prestigious universities in the world while competing in the toughest wrestling conference in the country. But beyond that, it’s about growing as a person in an environment unlike many others."
