2013 Indoor: At the Big Ten championships (2/23), finished 14th in the heptathlon with a career-best 4,961 points, including personal records in the 1000 meters (2:53.18) and high jump (6-6 3/4, 2.00m) ... finished third in the long jump with a personal-best leap of 21-11 1/2 (6.69m) at the Wisconsin NCAA Qualifier (3/1) ... set a personal best in the pole vault with a 10th-place clearance of 13-5 1/4 (4.10m) at the Red & White Open (2/15) ... also finished ninth in the long jump with a leap of 21-2 1/2 (6.46m) and 11th in the 60 hurdles with a time of 9.26 seconds ... finished eighth in the heptathlon with 4,847 points at the Frank Sevigne Invitational (2/2) ... in the heptathlon, set personal records in the 1000 meters (2:54.50) and 60 hurdles (8.92) ... at the Bill Bergan Invitational (1/26), finished 18th in the shot put with a toss of 37-6 3/4 (11.45m) and 11th in the long jump with a leap of 20-9 (6.32m) ... placed second in the pentathlon, finishing with 3,466 points at the Wisconsin Invitational (1/18) ... also placed third in the long jump with a leap of 21-2 (6.45m) and ninth in the pole vault with a height of 12-9 1/2 (3.90m) ... ran a personal best 9.09 in the 60-meter hurdles to finish eighth at the Badger Track Classic (1/12) ... matched his career-best leap in the high jump with a jump of 6-3 1/4 (1.91m) ... threw a personal-best throw of 42-3 1/2 (12.89m) in the shot put
2013 Outdoor: At the Wisconsin Open (5/4), finished fourth in the 110-meter hurdles in a personal-best 16.14 seconds and won the high jump with a leap of 6-5 (1.96m) ... won the javelin with a personal-best throw of 206-5 (62.93m) at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational (4/26-27) ... also finished fourth in the pole vault with a clearance of 13-7 3/4 (4.16m), fourth in the long jump with a career-best leap of 21-8 1/4 (6.61m) and sixth in the 110-meter hurdles in 17.01 seconds ... in his first-career decathlon, finished sixth with 6,675 points at the California Invitational (4/17-18) ... placed fifth in the javelin with a career-best throw of 176-7 (53.83m) at the Yellow Jacket Invitational (3/30)
2012 Indoor: Competed in the Wisconsin NCAA Qualifier (3/2), finishing ninth in a preliminary section of the 60 meters with a personal-best dash of 7.34 seconds ... finished fifth in the long jump with a personal-best leap of 21-9 1/2 (6.64m) at the Red & White Open (2/17) ... ran to a ninth-place finish in the 60 hurdles at the Wisconsin Invitational (1/21), finishing in 12.61 seconds and also competed in the pentathlon, totalling 2,785 points and finished seventh ... came in fourth in the triple jump after leaping 44-6 3/4 (13.58m) at the Badger Track Classic (1/14)
2012 Outdoor: Finished 10th in the long jump with a lunge of 20-10 (6.35m) and also placed 15th in the 400 meters with a personal-best time of 52.46 seconds at the Wisconsin Open (5/5)
