2013 Outdoor: At the Wisconsin Open (5/4), placed third in the 110-meter hurdles in a personal-best 15.65 seconds and won the long jump with a leap of 22-1 (6.73m) ... finished fifth in the 110-meter hurdles in 16.08 seconds, fifth in the pole vault with a clearance of 13-1 3/4 (4.01m), fifth in the long jump with a leap of 20-11 1/4 (6.38m) and ninth in the javelin with a throw of 162-4 (49.48m)at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational (4/26-27) ... in his first-career decathlon, finished runner up with 6,800 points at the California Invitational (4/17-18), including a victory in the 100 meters in a personal-best time of 11.06 seconds ... at the Yellow Jacket Invitational (3/30), finished eighth in the javelin with a personal-best distance of 162-7 (49.56m), eighth in the discus with a career-best heave of 122-8 (37.39m) and 16th in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 16.37 seconds
2012 Indoor: Competing unattached, tallied 3,168 points and finished fifth in the pentathlon at the Wisconsin Invitational (1/20), which included a personal-best clearance of 5-11 1/2 (1.82m) in the high jump ... dashed to a personal-best time of 7.16 seconds and finished 10th in a preliminary section of the 60 meters at the Badger Track Classic (1/14), and also finished 16th with a personal-best heave of 37-3 3/4 (11.37m) in the shot put ... finished seventh, competing unattached, in the 60 meters with a time of 7.28 and also placed fourth in the long jump with a leap of 21-10 1/4 (6.66m) at the Red & White Open (2/17)
2012 Outdoor: Finished fourth in the javelin with a personal-best toss of 156-9 (47.79m), fifth in the long jump with a personal-best leap of 21-6 (6.55m) and 13th in the 400 meters in a personal-best time of 52.14 seconds at the Wisconsin Open (5/5)
