Wisconsins Brian Ko won his second round consolation match today at the 2004 Milwaukee Tennis Classic, at the Helfaer Tennis Stadium in Milwaukee. Teammate Steve Guntly also competed today, but was defeated by Tommy Dennis of Western Michigan, 6-3, 6-3.
Ko stopped Depauls Gabe Inchauste, 6-3, 6-2, to advance to the quarterfinals. With the win Ko improved to 2-1 in the Classic, 5-1 overall. Ko will face Adrian Szatmany tomorrow at 8:30 a.m.
