The Badgers continued play in the Tom Fallon Invitational on Saturday in South Bend, Ind. All three players competed in singles play while Mike Muskievicz and Luke Rassow-Kantor teamed up in doubles, and Peter Marrack played with Notre Dames Takashi Yoshii.
On Saturday morning, the Badgers took on Michigan State in singles play. Muskievicz continued his commanding play from Friday, as he defeated Ron Hulewicz in straight sets 6-4, 6-1. After losing his first set, Marrack battled back and defeated Jason Norville 4-6, 7-6, 1-0. Rassow-Kantor won his first set, but could not win another, as he fell to John Allare 3-6, 6-0, 1-0.
The Badgers continued doubles play later in the afternoon, beginning with Western Michigan. The team of Muskievicz and Rassow-Kantor played tough as they defeated Michael Caderone and Zeyad Montasser 8-6. The team of Marrack and Yoshii again played hard and forced a tiebreaker, but could not hang on as they lost to Kevin Hayward and Pablo Olivarez. Later in the afternoon, the Badgers faced off against Harvard. Muskievicz and Rassow-Kantor continued their tough play, defeating Aba Omodelle-Lucien and Sasha Ermakov 8-4 for their second doubles win of the day. The pair of Marrack and Yoshii again found themselves on the other side of a victory, as they fell to Michael Hayes and Davis Mangham 8-5.
