MADISON, Wis. The Badgers announced their 2013-14 schedule Tuesday, featuring four tournaments in the fall before opening the spring season with a doubleheader against SIU and Bradley on Feb. 1.

Wisconsin begins the fall season looking to take home a fourth consecutive doubles title at the Milwaukee Tennis Classic (Sept. 13-15). The Badgers continue fall action with appearances at the ITA-All Americans (Sept. 26-29) and the ITA Regionals (Oct. 17-20), before closing the fall season at the Big Ten Singles Tournament (Nov. 1-3).

The spring season is highlighted by 14 matches at Nielsen Tennis Stadium, including visits from in-state rival Marquette and Big Ten powerhouse Ohio State.

Wisconsin’s non-conference slate features trips to Notre Dame, Miami and Florida Gulf Coast, as well as a visit from Denver on Feb. 23, marking the first meeting between the two teams in school history.

The Badgers kick off Big Ten action against Minnesota on March 1 in Minneapolis, Minn., with hopes of repeating their dramatic 4-3 victory over the Golden Gophers from 2013.

Wisconsin faces a tough close to Big Ten play, as its final five matches are against teams that qualified for the 2013 NCAA Men’s Tennis Tournament.

Following regular season action, the Badgers head to the Big Ten Tournament (April 25-27) to compete for the Big Ten’s automatic bid to the 2014 NCAA Men’s Tennis Tournament (May 15-26).
